Our Student Council are a dedicated group of students who act on behalf of all students to ensure the student voice is heard in our school. We support school management and we aim to promote friendship and respect among students.  We are proud to be involved in a number of school-wide projects each year and are currently making plans for the 2019/20 academic year.

Below are some of the activities/projects that we have worked on in 2018/9

Our Rise and Shine Walk

This is our annual school early morning walk which we help organise. We come together as a school community to promote positive mental health.

X-Mas Factor

This is our annual Christmas show. We help organise auditions, the show organisation and the voting process. All money raised goes to Self Help Africa and Pieta House.

This year, we conducted a school-wide survey on X-Mas factor and aim to make changes to the 2019 show based on feedback received.

Cycle Against Suicide – Schools go Orange in February

We helped organise the day which included music and activities at breaks and a first year treasure hunt.

Share the Love

This is an initiative where flowers, sweets, notes can be purchased and sent to someone that you care about. All money raised goes to Pieta House.

Walk out on Climate Change

With the support of school management, we organised a school walk out in March 2019 and got to voice our concerns about this serious issue.

We are hosting the KWETB final on May 3rdand are welcome students from across the ETB to compete.
