The bubble bank had an extremely busy day today. They held their official launch in the gym. Henry Shefflin was there to officially open the bank. He met with the team, staff and students. Students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and TY had an opportunity to open up an account with Bank Of Ireland and meet Henry Shefflin. He spoke about how he had to work hard at school and sport to get where he is today. He said he was average in school and average at hurling at the start but hard work and commitment paid off. He encouraged students to do the same.
Over 60 accounts were opened today which was a great success. Sincere thanks to Derek and Antoinette from Bank of Ireland, Ms Dunne, Mr Finn, Ms Byrne and all the Bubble bank team of Grainne Hughes ,Emily Hadden,Leah Sankaran, Helen Hughes, Laura Doherty, Diego Molamphy, Megan O Reilly, Aoife Mooney, Abbie Mooney, Bill Nolan, Grace O Sullivan , kealan O Tiarnaigh, Denise Osborne and James Tyrrell.
