One mission in mind and that was to return the coveted Senior Camogie Cup to its natural habitat- the corridors of CB! The determination, skill, class, gusto, panache and coolness of these ladies was clearly evident as they poised the sliotar over the opponent’s crossbar with a lightening speed. Captain fantastic, Kerri O’Brien ably assisted by fellow 6th year, Úna Sinnott, led her team with dignity and pride which was accredited by the organisers of this competition. At no stage did we feel under threat with convincing scores from Katie Smyth, Aoife Curran, Úna Sinnott and Sarah Byrne and across the field it was a whole team performance. They were a credit to themselves, families and their school.
