Coláiste Bhríde was one of the lucky schools selected to attend the 2015 Web Summit in the RDS. 37 students attended the evening session of talks on Tuesday, November 3rd. Upon entry into the venue, the students audibly gasped at the stage set up and lighting which were extremely impressive. The nights speakers touched on a variety of topics; from curing cancer to stamping out bullying in schools. Each speaker had one thing in common and that was the fact that each business came from one person’s belief and passion. At all stages during the evening, students were encouraged to follow up on ideas and to ‘prove their passion’. It was a very informative evening, and hopefully, when the event is back in Dublin in the future, there will be a CB student up on that stage inspiring others.
