Daniel Curry, Cliodhna O Connell and Lauren Flanagan travelled down to St Mary’s handball alley in Wexford on Thursday 5th November to compete in the Leinster Post Primary 60 x 30 handball games. Cliodhna and Lauren took on Wexford Presentation School in the semi final of the U16 doubles. It was a nail biting start to the game, neck and neck for the first 10 minutes. Cliodhna and Lauren upped their game in the last 5 minutes beating them 21-16. Daniel Curry took on Castlecomer Community School in the semi final of the U19 singles. Unfortunate day for Daniel. It was a close game in the first 10 minutes with the score level at 12-12, however, in the last 5 mins Castlecomer got the better of Daniel beating him 21-13.
